Our trip full of nature begins in Budapest where our driver will pick you up at the airport. After the hotel check you will spend the evening with your guide and explore great traditional cuisine which is very popular and delicious. Hot and spicy.
Our trip will start after breakfast, we will drive approx one hour to Szelim. The cave became most famous through the legend of the Turkish invasions. The inhabitants of the surrounding villages were frightened by the foreign soldiers and fled into the forest. There they looked for a hiding place in this very cave, which provided them with a temporary refuge. But the Turks found them easily, they started a huge fire in front of the entrance and because of it all the householders died. A large number of skeletons were found in the cave, which testify to the truth of this story. Up to three entrances lead to its interior, located on different sides. The cave was discovered for the first time in the thirties of the last century, when they began to conduct extensive archaeological research there. He confirmed its settlement already during the Paleolithic period.We are sure that this magical place will make you great memories. Nature is really important and beautiful.
Baradla is the most famous cave in Hungary and after breakfast we will explore this special one. It is connected to Domica and offers a different view of the underground on the border of these two countries. According to visitors, this complex of corridors and halls with natural decoration is more beautiful from the Slovak side. However, Hungary does not lag behind in anything and will also introduce you to several interesting places. Altogether, there are 23 kilometers of footpaths in both countries.Baradla is full of streets made with mother nature. After discovering this place we will spend time in a nearby village which is famous for traditional skills, folklore and specialities.
Tapolca is such a beautiful place and we are sure that you will agree with us. Cave is full of lakes which look like magical place from fantasy movie. In some sections you will have to bend down due to the low ceiling, but even this has its small advantage. Thanks to this, you can see the interesting decoration better and in full detail. The water is pleasantly warm, so it is not very cold underground and you will enjoy this little adventure all the more. A little over two kilometers of the route is open to the public, you can walk part of it and then you will be transported through the water, which in some places reaches a depth of several meters. Imagine that you will be sealing in a cave. Sounds like a dream.
Our tour is full of nature and we spend time exploring the capital city. Budapest castle is one of the most beautiful historical buildings in the country and Europe. Near to the castle is a national museum dedicated to the history of the country and bridge with views on a huge part of the city. Near the complex is a magical park where we will spend time and try traditional specialities. Hungarian cuisine is really delicious. Evening will be a sign of sailing on the Danube and enjoying dinner with a breathtaking view of the city lights.
After breakfast we will take you to the airport or train station. Our trip is ending but there are still many left. We are looking forward to seeing you for another amazing trip.
