Its renowned cultural venues include the concert hall Alte Oper, Europe's largest English theater and many museums. Frankfurt's skyline is shaped by some of Europe's tallest skyscrapers. We will start our tour at the Central Station which is one of the largest rail stations in all of Europe and then at the Museum Embankment, located to the south of the Main River. This area offers a large concentration of museums, including the Städel, an art museum with one of the most important collections in Germany. We will continue the European Central Bank and the city’s banking quarter with some of the tallest skyscrapers and biggest office buildings in Europe. We will visit the Hauptwache and one of the most famous plazas in the city with its beautiful Baroque buildings, the popular Zeil promenade, Frankfurt Cathedral, St. Paul's church and the Römer.
Meet our guide today and explore Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest and most famous university town. We will see some of Heidelberg’s most popular sites, one of them is the famous ruins of the Gothic landmark Heidelberg Castle and the world’s largest wine barrel, the Heidelberg Tun. Next we visit the oldest part of the city, the Altstadt famous for its old and new buildings, narrow streets and market squares. We will then return back to the hotel.
Enjoy the best of Frankfurt on your own or hop on to a romantic cruise and past sweeping vineyards, medieval towns and mountain top castles. Enjoy the lunch/dinner at the cruise while looking at the Rhine Valley landmark.
Today we will visit one of the most exciting cities in Germany and start at the Electoral Castle which is one of Germany's important Renaissance buildings. We will then continue to modern Town Hall, cross the Rathausbrücke towards the Old Town and stop by the Iron Tower and Gutenberg Museum. Next we visit the Market Square and its famous St. Martin’s cathedral. We will finish at Gutenbergplatz to look up at the life-size statue of the city’s most famous son located opposite the great hall of the Mainz State Theatre. We will then return y99ou back to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for travel and hand out the rooms to head to the airport and return safely home.We are looking forward to seeing you soon on another trip. There are many beautiful places left.
