Our tourist guide will meet you at the hotel and together you will move to the city centre. From the Old town to St. Peter’s Church, the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai, and the Guild Houses. Locals and tourists rarely agree on the most beautiful place in this city. Undoubtedly, it is Lake Zurich, which offers several activities. It is very popular, mainly used for sightseeing cruises. If you fancy a bit of romance, make a reservation for the early evening when you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Switzerland's most frequently visited museum of cultural history represents the history of Switzerland from its origins to the present day. After the museum exhibition, we will have lunch. Later, we will take a cable car up to Felsenegg and delight in phenomenal views of the Alps and mountain towns. As well we will enjoy a relaxing ferry ride on Lake Zurich. Admire the affluent "Gold Coast" area on the eastern shore of Lake Zurich. Free evening.
Moving from Zurich to Basel. The main travel will be by train, bus or car. Depends on the price and the number of people on tour. Together we will explore Basel’s historic Old Town. Our walk will start at Basel Minster, and we will continue through the Barfüsserkirche, City Hall, the Museum der Kulturen and Tinguely Fountain. Along the way, we will admire the city’s bold and modern architecture, and see how the centuries have shaped the Basel of today. Free afternoon.
