A holiday in Slovenia is an opportunity to see vibrant cities, charming villages, snowy hills and small beaches.
Don't be put off because Slovenia is not a big country at first glance. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in variety and activities. From east to west, from north to south - each part of the country offers something different to tourists.
Our driver will pick you up at the airport and drive you to the hotel. You can get some rest and our tour guide will meet afternoon and we will explore together evening atmosphere of the city and traditional specialities.
Meet your guide at the hotel who will take you around center of Ljubljana to start at the stunning Baroque-era Town Hall. WeTogether we will visit r the Cathedral of St Nicholas, then strolling over the Art Nouveau Dragon Bridge and continue to Continue along the river, to Prešernov trg Square, after which you’ll traverse the Triple Bridge. Next we will encounter Ribji trg Square and learn about the city’s oldest architecture before continuing on to Old Town and admire more Baroque facades as we walk through more popular squares in Novi trg Square, just after the Cobblers’ Bridge. We then pause at other local points of interest, like Church of the Knights of the Cross and Jože Plečnik's Križanke Summer Theatre. On our way back we will tour to Ljubljana Castle and enjoy breathtaking views.
Discover Slovenia’s three most visited sights including Lake Bled, Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave. Experience the serenity of Lake Bled, visit Bled Castle which rises high atop a cliff where amazing views can be captured and stop for lunch during free time around the lake. Explore the winding stairways of Predjama Castle and then observe bizarre rock formations in Postojna Cave the second longest cave network in the country. Turning back to Ljubljana.
Moving to Bled, city on the Lake Bled in northwestern Slovenia. The main of travel will be by bus, train or car.
Starting a city tour at the glacial Lake Bled, which makes it a major tourist attraction. Perched on a rock overlooking the lake is the iconic Bled Castle. The town is also known in Slovenia for its vanilla and cream pastry, so after the lunch we will taste typical sweets. Free afternoon.
Moving from Bled to Piran with a stop for lunch. Traveling will be by car, train or bus.
Our city tour will start in the morning. The town has much medieval architecture, with narrow streets and compact houses through which we will walk all the time. In the middle of the town is the Tartini Square, with a monument in memory of Giuseppe Tartini. Continuing with the Tartini’s house, the Municipal Palace, Loggia and Benečanka. After the lunch we will move on the hill above the town where’s the Church of Saint George, with a Franciscan monastery nearby.
Heading from Piran to Ljubljana. After arrival free afternoon.
