After your arrival to the capital city of Slovenia will our driver take you to the hotel. Afternoon you will meet you guide and we will explore beauty of Ljubljana together.
After breakfast we will travel to Bled, an amazing and unique place. The main travel will be by bus, train or car.
Slovenia's number 1 tourist destination, Lake Bled, is simply a magical place. People come here to admire the amazing view of the lake and the small church built on an island in the middle of the lake. Mild thermal springs heat the water to 26 degrees, so you can swim in it until autumn. Natural swimming pools have been created on the northern and western banks. Behind it stands the Gothic Bled Castle, standing on the edge of the cliff. The medieval fortress is characterized by towers, walls and a terrace with a wonderful view. In the baroque southern wing there is a museum collection documenting the history of the lake. The terrace of the sought-after castle restaurant offers a view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It is a great place for a more active vacation - cycling, canoeing and classic hiking. You can even get on the cable car and ride to the top of the Straža ski slope and go down from there - it's a great adrenaline experience.
The cave is another frequently visited Slovenian attraction. However, it does not lose its charm even if you have already seen it at least once. Its stalagmites and stalactites are unmatched, but it is also home to the endangered aquatic caveman, a blind endemic amphibian that is also called the human fish because of its pale skin color. The entire space is made up of a series of caves, corridors and passageways with a length of 20.6 kilometers. Visitors can see 5.7 kilometers from it during a one to one and a half hour tour, while four kilometers are covered by underground train and the rest on foot. The cave has a constant temperature of 8 to 10 degrees Celsius with 95 percent humidity, so a waterproof jacket and appropriate footwear are essential.
Postojna Cave is connected to Predjama Castle, the largest cave castle in the world. The seven-hundred-year-old, four-story fort sits on a 123-meter-high cliff at the mouth of the cave, and you'll find everything you'd expect in a medieval castle—a drawbridge over a river, "murder holes" in an entrance tower that poured boiling oil and hot sand, and prison.
Next day after breakfast we will travel to Maribor, a very lovely city. The main form of transport will be by train, bus or car.
The second largest Slovenian city has several beautiful monuments. In the small Old Town there is an extravagant plague column, built in the Middle Ages as a thank you that the plague bypassed the city. To the south along the river you will find several medieval towers, a synagogue from the 15th century and a 400-year-old vineyard. The locals are quite proud of the old vine and it even has its own anthem. At the beginning of October, the city hosts a popular colorful wine festival. Wine lovers cannot resist an invitation to the huge Vinag wine cellar. Maribor Castle on the main square has a Knight's Hall with a painted ceiling and a magnificent Rococo staircase from the 18th century. The Regional Museum houses one of the richest archaeological and ethnographic collections in Slovenia.

The resort of Piran is located on the southwestern tip of Slovenia on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. The old wine-growing streets of the Old Town are lined with Venetian houses, and it's no wonder - for about five centuries, the city was part of the Venetian Empire. History buffs like to wander the streets around the main square, Tartinijev trg, explore the oldest building in the city, the Venetian House, and the Church of St. Juraj, standing high above the city. You can also climb the city walls or swim in the Adriatic. Piran owes its prosperity to the salt reserves, which are still processed using old methods. The Piran salt pan is also worth a visit.
Piran was our last amazing day of exploring and next day our driver will take you to the airport. We are looking forward to seeing you soon on another trip. We are pretty sure that Slovenia will leave you with many unforgettable memories.
