Spain is one of the most visited countries in Europe, sought after by tourists from all over the world. After all, who wouldn't want to enjoy its authentic atmosphere for at least a few days with a glass of sangria, tasting local specialities while listening to traditional music. However, the country that speaks the fastest language in the world is also popular thanks to its cultural monuments, beautiful cities, beaches and entertainment that awaits tourists from all over.
Valencia is a Mediterranean city that offers everything you could wish for during your vacation. Here you will discover a perfect mix of modern and traditional architecture, taste real Spanish paella, swim on the clean beach and, as a bonus, experience football madness and colourful festivals. This city will immediately captivate you with its atmosphere!
Our driver will take you from the airport to the hotel. After short rest, we will explore the evening atmosphere of the city with local cuisine.
These urban gardens are among the largest in all of Spain - they start at the "City of Arts and Sciences" and stretch nine kilometres along the entire city. Their unconventional shape is no accident because they were created in the place where the Turia River once flowed. Our next stop will be Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. You'll find this futuristic complex at the top of any list, and for a good reason. Ultra-modern buildings as if from another world surround swimming pools, which give the whole complex an even more airy character (the white-blue colour combination is supposed to resemble the Mediterranean). We owe this architectural gem to Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candel.
After breakfast, we will explore the historical centre of the city with full of architecture. Valencia, a 2,000-year-old city, has been home to Romans, Visigoths and Muslims since its founding in 130 BC. It boasts one of the largest historical centres in Europe, where all these influences have mixed and created a unique centre that you cannot miss during your visit. The most important building in the city is the Gothic Cathedral (Catedral de Santa María de Valencia) from the 13th century, which (allegedly) houses the Holy Grail from Jesus' Last Supper. You can find it on the altar in the chapel of the Holy Chalice, where it has had its place since the 15th century. The octagonal tower of El Miguelet is also part of the cathedral.
After breakfast will our driver take you to the airport. We are looking forward to seeing you on another amazing trip.
