Breakfast is followed by a day trip to the most beautiful corners of the island of Santorini.
The excursion starts from the picturesque old port of Santorini. This harbour is accessible by cable car, which is the most common way as it only takes 3 minutes to go down, 587 steps on foot or for those who love adventure, a local donkey is an ideal choice. Important note: For a cable car ticket or a ride on one of the donkeys, you should pay €6 per trip. Gialos, the old port, lies below Fira, nestled at the foot of a rocky cliff. You will be amazed by the steep slopes of the caldera, and finally, a tiny port will appear under these huge rocks and cave houses that seem to hang on the cliff. There, guides will be waiting for you after your excursion, who will provide you with all the important information and orientate you on the ship.
All day with a program on your own, relax by the sea.
Our next stop will be the island of Palea Kameni, where there are famous hot springs on the western side. A place that is really popular for its thermal waters. There we will stop for 30 minutes at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholaos beach. The waters are mixed with mud, which is full of sulphur, iron and other metals originating from the volcano and is very beneficial for skin, rheumatism, arthritis and other physical pains.
